Between the 25-26th June 2025, two representatives from the Ministry for Gozo and Planning attended the CO2 Pacman Business Forum in Valencia, Spain.
The event featured over 30 expert speakers, start-ups, key public authority representatives and impact investors from 7 European countries who gathered in the city of Valencia to tackle some of the Mediterranean’s most pressing climate and sustainability challenges. Together, they explored 55 innovative proposals spanning topics from sustainable mobility and water scarcity to plastic-waste management and carbon-neutral events.
The forum also featured real-world challenges posed by the islands of Brač, Crete and Elba – nine concrete cases where innovators responded with scalable, smart, and sustainable solutions.
